SideCho Signs The 1090 Club

A few weeks ago, Sidecho records signed Billings, Montana's The 1090 Club. The 1090 Club's been together for over four years, sharing stages with Mates of State, Death Cab For Cutie, Desert City Soundtrack, and many others. Their full-length debut is due out September 19th.

Ariel Pink and friends launch new label

Ariel Pink is among the dozen or so artists launching the new LA based label Human Ear Music at a showcase this Sunday. The showcase, to be held at LA's Little Pedro's on September 17th, will feature Ariel Pink, Bubonic Plague, Vibe Central, Jason Creep and Black Powder.

Human Ear Music's focus is on limited run releases that feature hand-crafted cover art. It's releases will be primarily distributed through direct mailorder on the label's website.

The label will launch with eight new releases that include the following:

Pre - a 2-disc/4-cassette anthology of early material from Ariel Pink recorded as Ariel Rosenberg's Thrash and Burn

New releases from:

Vibe Central
Bubonic Plague
Geneva Jacuzzi
Greg Gomberg
Jason Supercreep (a 3-disc set)

- a book by Andrew S.A.

- a compilation of collaborative recordings composed by all of the above
